Some changes can be made to Approved Change Orders after interface. These changes do not update Job Cost unless another PM Interface is performed. Users can be prevented from making changes to previously interfaced ACOs by checking a flag in the PM Company Parameters form.
Some important things to remember about Change Orders:
The PM Change Order forms are not shared tables with the JC Change Order forms.
If a user makes a change in the JC Change Order form, PM Change Orders will not be updated.
A process for making changes to Change Orders should be implemented within an organization to ensure consistency.
If the flag to lock ACO Items after interface is checked, a JC Change order would need to be deleted, fixed in PM and re-interfaced.
If the JC Change Order has already been billed and it cannot be deleted from a billing, an additional change order will need to be added in PM and then interfaced to JC to make a correction.
