What to do if Batch is in Status 1, 2 or 3

Changing a Batch Back to Open Status

When This Is Needed

If a batch is in Status 1, 2, or 3, it must be reset to Status 0 – Open before it can be edited or posted.

• Status 1: Validation in Progress
• Status 2: Validation Errors
• Status 3: Validation OK

Notes:

• Status 1 & 2 batches cannot be opened in the module’s Batch Process form.
• Status 3 batches may appear, but could be locked by another user.
• In Batch Selection, check Include all unposted batches to see these batches (they cannot be opened there).

Steps to Reset the Batch Status

1. Go to Headquarters > Programs > HQ Batch Control.
2. On the Info tab, enter the Month and Batch ID.
3. Change Status to 0 – Open.
4. Clear the In Use / Posted By field (remove the user name if present).
5. Save the change.

Result

The batch is now available to edit or post in the original posting form or through Batch Process.
