How to Create a Viewpoint Academy Account Using Trimble ID

A Trimble ID (TID) is a secure login that verifies your identity and protects your data. It will eventually provide one login for all Trimble applications, including Trimble Viewpoint.

Why Create a Trimble ID?

• Simplifies user management
• Lets users self-register for Viewpoint Academy
• Existing Trimble ID users can access Viewpoint Academy
• Improves security with:
  • Centralized user management
  • Data encryption
  • Strong password rules
  • Multi-Factor Authentication
• Admin teams still control access to Viewpoint products and the Customer Portal

How to Create a Trimble ID

1. On the Viewpoint Academy sign-in page, click Trimble ID.
2. Enter your name and email, then click Send Code.
3. Check your email for the verification code.
4. Enter the code and click Submit.
5. Create and confirm your password.
6. Review preferences and click Submit.

        Your account is now ready.

Logging In with Trimble ID

• Click Trimble ID on the Viewpoint Academy login page.
• Enter your Trimble ID credentials when prompted.
• If already logged in, you’ll go straight to the home screen.

Customer Portal & Academy Access

• Trimble ID does not yet replace Customer Portal logins.
• Existing login credentials still work.
• Fully authorized users can still create Academy accounts via the Customer Portal.
• Trimble ID allows users to self-register for training, reducing admin workload.
