[VA] How to Copy Security from One Company to Another

The VA Copy Company Security form lets you copy a company’s security settings (programs/forms, reports, attachment types, and user-level security) from one company to another or to the Global level.

This is useful when multiple companies need the same security setup for a group or user, saving time by avoiding manual setup for each company.

Notes:

• You cannot copy from Global or multiple companies at once.

• You can copy one company’s security to another company or to Global/All Companies.

Steps:

1. Open VA Copy Company Security.

2. Select the company to copy from.

3. Choose where to copy: another company or Global, and decide whether to replace existing security.

4. Select whether you are copying for a Security Group or User.

5. Click Copy Security.

6. Confirm the action in the pop-up message.

7. After completion, a confirmation will appear.

Now the selected group or user has security for both companies.
