[PR] Stop Leave from Accruing on a Leave Code

If you need to stop a leave code from accruing and removing the code from the employee is not practical, this article will show you how to do that.

Steps
Existing accrual/usage records on an employee's leave code cannot be deleted, but you can stop leave from accruing in the future.
  • Open the PR Employee Leave form
  • Uncheck the Active box and save the record
  •  Repeat this on all rate based leave codes assigned to the employee

Note: We recommend using a date far in the future. Currently windows will accept dates up to 12/31/2029. If you enter a date later than that, the system will record it as a 20th century date, so 1/1/30 would be recorded as 1/1/1930 and cause the Leave Code to still be active for the employee.
