[PR] Stop Leave from Accruing on a Leave Code

If removing a leave code from an employee is not practical, you can prevent future accruals while retaining the existing records.


Procedure:

  1. Open the PR Employee Leave form.

  2. Locate the leave code you wish to disable and uncheck the Active box.

  3. Save the record.

  4. Repeat these steps for all rate-based leave codes assigned to the employee.


Important Note:

  • We recommend using a date far in the future when setting accruals. The system currently supports dates up to 12/31/2029.

  • Entering a date beyond this limit may cause the system to interpret it as a 20th-century date (e.g., 1/1/30 would be recorded as 1/1/1930), which could result in the leave code remaining active.
