If removing a leave code from an employee is not practical, you can prevent future accruals while retaining the existing records.
Procedure:
Open the PR Employee Leave form.
Locate the leave code you wish to disable and uncheck the Active box.
Save the record.
Repeat these steps for all rate-based leave codes assigned to the employee.
Important Note:
We recommend using a date far in the future when setting accruals. The system currently supports dates up to 12/31/2029.
Entering a date beyond this limit may cause the system to interpret it as a 20th-century date (e.g., 1/1/30 would be recorded as 1/1/1930), which could result in the leave code remaining active.
