[JB] Create T&M Labor Categories

Labor Categories group labor costs on T&M bills based on Craft and Class combinations. Costs without a matching Labor Category won’t appear on the bill if billing is rate-based.

Creating and Using Labor Categories

1. Open Labor Categories Form:

   • Press F5 on the Labor Categories field in a JB T&M Template
     or

   • Open JB T&M Labor Categories Program from the Vista Main Menu.

2. Create a Labor Category:

   • Assign sequences to determine which costs are included based on Craft and Class.

   • Example:

     • Sequence 1: Restrict by Craft only → all costs with that Craft go into this Labor Category.

     • Sequence 2: Restrict by Craft and Class → only costs matching both go into this category.

3. Miscellaneous Labor Category:

   • Optional category to catch all costs not included in other categories.

   • Once set up, costs will automatically pull into the appropriate Labor Category on T&M bills.
