[SM] How to get SM Work Orders to show on Payroll Certified Reports

Created by Crystal Ann Harvey, Modified on Wed, 23 Jul at 3:38 PM by Crystal Ann Harvey

To be able to report your Davis-Bacon wages you will need to make sure that your SM Technicians (and the corresponding PR Employees) are setup correctly to report on Certified Jobs.

Note: Customer-Type SM Work Orders will not populate on the standard PR Certified Payroll Reports. You must create a custom report if you require this data to appear.

To set up a Technician for Certified payroll, you will need to do the following:

  1. Verify the PR Employee # and Company on the SM Technician form

  2. Go to the PR Employees form and bring up this employee. Then, go to the Additional Info tab and select the check box that says "Include on Certified Reports." (This will make sure that the employee's timecards created either in SM or Payroll will be eligible to show up on the Certified Report.

  3. Now go to the JC Job Master form. Under the Payroll Info tab, verify that the Certified Job flag is checked. (Note: if the flag is not checked on the Job Master, you can still get the time to show on the Certified Report but you will need to uncheck the parameter in the report that says "Certified Jobs Only?")

  4. Now create an SM Work Order. Any Labor lines created for the Technician you marked as Included in Certified Reports will be reflected in the appropriate week's certified report. The report will not distinguish this labor entry as an SM entry on the report, but should be reported correctly on the report for certified wage reporting.
