[SM] Setup SM Rate Template

The following instructions will guide you through the process of setting up a rate template.

From the Vista main menu, go to Service Management > Programs.

Open SM Rate Templates.
Enter a Template code and Description.
Enter the Labor Rate and Equipment Markup Percent.
Select Markup or Discount for material rates.
Choose the Basis (Actual, Standard, Average, Last Cost, or Standard Price).
Select how break points are calculated: Total Cost or Unit Cost.
Enter the Material Markup/Discount Percent.
Enter the Non-Material Purchase Markup Percent (or 0.00 if none).
Check Active to enable the rate template.

Optional:

Use Advanced options to set override rates for equipment, labor, materials, or standard items.
Set up effective date templates to apply rates starting on a future date.
