[HR] Updating Salary to Payroll

  1. Enter Salary:

    • Use the Salary History tab in HR Resource Master or the HR Resource Salary History form to record the new salary.

    • Click Save.

  2. Create Batch:

    • Open HR Update Benefit/Salary to PR form.

    • Create a new batch.

  3. Set Batch Criteria:

    • Choose whether to update all employees or a specific employee (by HR Resource # or PR Employee #).

    • Check Post Salary to PR (and/or Post Benefits to PR if applicable).

    • Set the Effective Date—only updates effective on or before this date are included.

  4. Load Batch Table:

    • Click Update to populate the grid with eligible entries (employee/resource numbers, name, type of update, benefit code/description, add/change).

    • Repeat criteria selection if needed to add more entries.

  5. Remove Employees (Optional):

    • To exclude employees, enter their HR Resource # and click Remove.

    • Repeat as needed until the grid contains only the desired entries.

  6. Validate and Review:

    • Click Validate.

    • Preview the batch report.

  7. Post Batch:

    • If the report is correct, click Post.

  8. Verify Update:

    • Confirm the updated salary appears in PR Employees.
