Enabling Silvertrek to Access Viewpoint Vista Cloud

If your Vista instance is hosted in the cloud, you’ll need to open a case with Viewpoint Customer Support so they can add Kartaya Automate’s static IPs to your Viewpoint Database TLS Endpoint allowlist. 


Open a support case

  1. Go to the Viewpoint Support Portal and sign in to your Customer Support account.

  2. Choose My ResourcesSubmit a Case.

  3. When prompted, select SupportSystems/IT.

Provide product details

  1. In the Which product are you using? section, complete the fields as follows:

    • Product: Vista

    • Version: your Vista version (e.g., 2022 R2)

    • Module: Vista Server and IT Related

    • Brief Summary: Whitelist IP for TLS connection

  2. Scroll to the bottom and click Continue to Case Creation.

Create and submit the case

  1. Under Case Create, pick an appropriate Priority.

  2. In the Description box, paste and send this message:
    Hello, please add the following static IP addresses to the TLS Database Endpoint whitelist for our Vista environment:
    50.173.26.222
    104.42.57.116
    Could you also let us know what the database url and port are for our instance?

  3. Click Submit to open the case

  4. Viewpoint support will get back to you within 1-2 days.

Provide connection information to Silvertrek

  1. Forward the response from Viewpoint Support to the Silvertrek employee you are working with. If you are not sure who to send it to, send it to support@silvertrek.net.
