[PR] How to set up Per Diem as an Add-on Earning

Assigning Per Diem Earnings via Craft/Class Templates

1. Set Up Employee Craft/Class:

   • In PR Employee, ensure the employee’s Craft/Class combination is correctly assigned.

2. Create Per Diem Earnings Code:

   • In PR Earnings Codes, create a Per Diem code.

   • Method: Rate per Day

   • Taxable: No (leave Dedn/Liab tab blank)

   • Ensure Subject to Craft/Class Add-ons is checked.

3. Configure Craft/Class Template:

   • In PR Craft Class Templates, go to the Add-on Earnings tab.

   • Add the Per Diem earnings code and specify the rate.

4. Assign Template to Job:

   • In JC Jobs > PR Info tab, assign the Craft/Class Template.

   • In PR Timecard Entry, post the employee’s time to the job.

   • Go to File > Process > Validate > Post.

5. Process Employee Pay Sequence:

   • In PR Employee Pay Sequence Control, process the employee.

   • Under the Earnings Codes tab, verify the Per Diem appears correctly.
