[SM] Setup SM Serviceable Items

You will use the SM Serviceable Items form (accessed by double-clicking in the Serviceable Items grid in SM Service Sites) to set up serviceable items for a service site.

  1. Open SM Service Sites.

  2. Enter the Service Site.

  3. Go to the Serviceable Items tab and open SM Serviceable Items.


Set up the serviceable item:
4. Enter a Serviceable Item code and Description.
5. Check Active.
6. Enter a Summary (optional).
7. Select a Class and Type (use F4/F5 if needed).
8. Enter Manufacturer, Model, Serial Number, and Year.
9. Enter the Location.
10. If applicable, select Labor and/or Material Warranty and enter expiration dates.
11. Save the record.


Set up parts (optional):
12. Open the Parts tab.
13. Enter the Part, Part Type, and Material.
14. Verify or enter the Description.
15. Enter the UM and Quantity.
16. Save the record.
