[CM] Entering the Beginning Balance in CM Statement

Enter the bank beginning balance the first time you complete a Cash Management (CM) Statement.


Steps

  1. Enable Beginning Balance Entry:

    • Go to Cash Management > Programs > CM Company Parameters → Info tab.

    • Check “Allow Changes to Statement Beginning Balance” and Save.

  2. Enter Beginning Balance:

    • Open CM Statement Control and enter your bank’s beginning balance.

  3. Disable Changes:

    • Return to CM Company Parameters and uncheck the box.

    • Future statements will automatically use the prior month’s ending balance as the new beginning balance.

  4. TIP – Syncing Working Balance:

    • If the Working Balance is out of sync, set the beginning balance to 0.00, save, then re-enter the correct beginning balance. This refreshes the table.
