Process to Set Up Prevailing Wage Job
Setting up prevailing wage on the job:
1. Navigate to job-payroll setup- check for prevailing wage
A. Check the Davis-Bacon job box if job is a Federal job.
B. Check the prevailing wage job box if a state, county, or local job.

2. In deduction or add on, check the prevailing wage check box. Choose the regular wages include non stated fringe box to keep track of prevailing jobs without stated fringe.
2. Set the pay groups, then set the pay level on the employee setup side
NOTE: For non-union companies, fringes are paid to employees as wages. the amounts paid can then be deducted from federally required rates.
For example: required fringe is $5.00/hr, employer pays $3/hr in benefits, $2/hr will be paid as wages.
