Entering Indirect Labor Costs
To enter labor costs that will not be set directly to a job:
Option One: use the overhead allocation update to enter the costs
1. Navigate to Job Cost - Data Entry - Overhead Allocation
2. Enter the required posting date as the transaction date (today's date will default)
3. Enter the job and date you wish the overhead amount to affect, select Continue
4. Run the Job Cost Transaction Update
a. Job Cost - Date Entry - Job Cost Transaction
b. Select Update Job, run the update process
Option Two (for Subcontracts):
1. Enter a phase (will also allow for projection amounts)
2. Tie the subcontract to that phase
3. Enter overhead costs to the subcontract
