Importing Phases

To import phases to a job that is already entered in Spectrum: 

1. From the site map, navigate to Project Setup-Job Setup

2. Enter Job code of the previously created job and the estimate type.

a. Estimate Type: Select base contract if phases relate to the original estimate. 

3. Select Import 

4. Enter Phase Options, Continue

5. Choose File. This is an import file that has been created in Excel or exported from Exporting Software.

a. If creating an estimate in Excel, follow this format to allow for import into Spectrum.

NOTE: Phase records are indicated with a "P" as the first field in the record.
