Adding a Domain User

  1. Create the user in Active Directory Users and Computers
  2. Right click on the new users and click Properties. Select the Member Of tab and click Add to add the user to the "VCS Users" group
  3. Open the VA User Profile form in Vista
  4. In the User Name field, press F4 for Field Lookup
  5. Select System Users, pick the newly created user and click OK
  6. Enter the user's Name and Email Address, set security permissions and assign the user to the proper security groups.
  7. To log in as a domain user, select "Use Windows Login" on the Vista login page
